Showing policies with COVID-19 protocol:
Pre-entries are due the Wednesday before the show. Entries can be submitted on-line at https://www.whitestonefarmva.com/entry OR you can print, scan, and email back the entry form.
A completed entry includes:
Whitestone Farm Riding Release Form
Each barn or individual will be issued a packet with numbers, courses, and COVID-19 policy. Packets can be found on the porch outside of the office. Please have one representative pick up your barn’s packet.
When you are done at the horse show, please place your check or exact change in the given packet and return the packet to the table on the porch outside of the office in the “COMPLETED” bin. Please ensure that everyone’s money from your barn is in the packet before dropping it off. Checks should be made out to Whitestone Farm Horse Show. If paying in cash, it needs to be exact change. No change will be given.
Scratches and changes will be allowed on show day but no new entries will be accepted.
Courses will be posted on the Whitestone Farm Horse Shows Facebook page prior to the show and will be included in each barn/individual’s packet.
Based on pre-entries, the numbers and times of schooling breaks will be determined by show management. Schooling breaks will be for the people in that division only unless you ask permission. This information will be on Facebook by noon the day before the show. The jump heights will be set. Please do not change the jump heights.
No ribbons will be distributed at the ring. Please keep track of your awards. Ribbons will be on the porch outside the office for people to take as they leave.
No stall rentals available. The barns and wash stalls are closed to all exhibitors. A hose near the trailer parking field will be available for filling buckets and rinsing horses.
No dogs allowed.
The following COVID-19 guidelines must be adhered to when attending our horse shows. In addition, all Federal, State, and local laws that may be applicable must be followed. Management reserves the right to change the guidelines if/when it is necessary. Failure to follow guidelines may result in expulsion from the show grounds. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus.
If you come to the competition grounds, you must be able to assure management that neither you nor anyone in your household:
Has tested positive or has been presumed positive for COVID-19 at any time during the past 14 days
Has been advised by a healthcare professional to self-quarantine at any time during the past 14 days
Has been in close physical contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or who has been presumed positive for COVID-19 during the past 14 days
Is subject to a quarantine order or a recommendation of a healthcare professional that, in either case, would make it inadvisable to attend a public event or competition
Has, with the past 24 hours, exhibited any of the following symptoms: fever of 100.4 or greater, cough, shortness of breath. Please adhere to all social distancing guidelines and be mindful of your surroundings.
We are all in this together and need to all do our part to make this day safe for all!
