2010 WHITESTONE FARM HUNTER SHOW SERIES - DIVISIONS & CLASS SPECIFICATIONS

Lead Line -Open to children 7 years and under - riders not to have reached their 8th birthday as of Dec. 1, 2009. May not cross enter into any other class.

Pre-Short Stirrup Eq. - Open to riders 10 years and under. Riders will be asked to walk, trot, and perform simple equitation tasks. Riders may enter other walk/trot classes. Riders not to have reached their 11th birthday as of Dec. 1, 2009.

CRC Public Relations Short Stirrup Eq. -Open to riders 12 years and under. Riders may not cross enter into classes where they would jump over 18”. May trot fences. Riders not to have reached their 13th birthday as of Dec. 1, 2009. The CRC Public Relations Perpetual Trophy kindly donated by the Greg Mueller family

Student Equitation - Open to riders of any age in their 1st. or 2nd. year of showing at 2’ or higher as of Dec. 1, 2009. May trot fences. Adults may ride ponies.

Pleasure Pony - Open to all ponies ridden by juniors shown with hunter tack.

Pleasure Horse - Open to all horses shown with hunter tack. Division can be split if entries warrant.

California Warm up -One warm up trip per horse/rider combination. Will run simultaneously with classes 17-39. Fence height determined by class offerings. This class not judged.

Dae Won Construction Low Hunter - Open to horses and ponies. No restrictions on riders. Fences 2’. This perpetual trophy donated by Dae Won Construction Company, Inc.

Cowles Parkway Ford Maiden Hunter - Open to horses and ponies in their first year of showing over fences at 2’ or higher as of Dec. 1, 2009. Adults may ride ponies. Fences 2’. This perpetual trophy donated by Cowles Parkway Ford of Woodbridge. www.fordtrucksusa.com

American Heritage Homes Green Pony Hunter -Open to ponies ridden by juniors. Ponies must be in their first year of showing as of Dec. 1, 2009 in any class that requires ponies to jump the designated height for green ponies. Fences 2’ for small, 2’3” for medium and 2’6” for large ponies. This perpetual trophy donated by American Heritage Homes www.ahhva.com

Betty Milone Memorial Green Hunter - Open to horses in their 1st or 2nd year of showing over fences at 2’6” or higher as of Dec. 1, 2009. Fences 2’6. This perpetual trophy, donated by Carol Hawley and Kathleen Bonner, is dedicated to the memory of our dear horse show friend.

Whitestone Farm/VHSA Associate/BHSA Pony Equitation -Open to juniors mounted on ponies. Fences 2’ for small, 2’3” for medium and 2’6” for large ponies. At least 1/4 of the class will be asked to return to show at a walk, trot, and canter, and to perform additional tests at the judge’s discretion.

Ultimate Pontiac, Buick, GMC Pony Hunter - Open to ponies ridden by juniors. Fences 2’ for small, 2’3” for medium, and 2’6” for large ponies. The Large Pony Perpetual Trophy donated by Ultimate Pontiac, Buick, GMC.  www.driveULTIMATE.com

Schooling Hunter - Open to horses and ponies. No restrictions on riders. Fences 2’6”.

Jeff Pittman Memorial Children’s/Adult Amateur Hunter - Open to juniors and adult amateurs on horses. Fences at 2’6” or 3’. Division will be split if there are enough entries. This perpetual trophy is dedicated to the memory of Jeff Pittman – a beloved friend of the Quad J Farm family.

Forrest Linton Memorial Working Hunter - Open to all horses and ponies. Fences 2’9” or 3’. This perpetual trophy donated by Mr. And Mrs. Hunter Morin is dedicated to the memory of a much loved local trainer and friend.
