Whitestone Farm is a brand new facility located in western Spotsylvania on the Rapidan River. Located on a bluff, our clients enjoy panoramic views overlooking 7 counties and 75 miles of the Blue Ridge Mountains, while spending time with their equine friends. Our 95 acre farm is just minutes from private and public schools, shopping and restaurants.
Boarding at Whitestone Farm is a relaxing, safe, productive way of life for horse and rider. Enjoy complete, customized care for your horse. We will cater to his individual needs, doing everything we can to keep your horse safe, healthy, and happy. Our mission is to keep your horse’s life well organized, so that when you’re ready for him, he is ready for you!
BARNS
“Three Volleys” has just been completed. Some of the wonderful features of “Three Volleys” are:
- 20 12 x 12 stalls with stable grid drainage system
- Automatic waterers
- Hot and cold wash rack with mats
- Climate controlled kitchen and laundry room
- Climate controlled boarders tack room
- Bath rooms
- Tack lockers for each boarder
- Climate controlled office
- All aisle ways covered with rubber mats
- Each stall has own commercial fan, lights, (2) blanket bars and ribbon display rack
“Sentry House” is currently being renovated. Sentry House when completed will give us additional stalls.
RINGS
We have three outdoor rings:
- 310 x 150 with lights
- 120 x 90
- 240 x 120
Our rings have all weather "no freeze" footing and four board fencing.
All jumps are brand new and are “A” rated approved, made by Burlingham, PolyPro, JUMP4JOY and JUMPVC.
TRAINING PROGRAMS:
All of our horses are involved in a customized instructional, training and service program. Please go to our Lesson and Training areas of the website for more information.
PASTURES/PADDOCKS:
Turnout at Whitestone Farm is customized to suit the horse’s personality and needs. Both private and small group turnout is available. We make every effort possible to find a safe, happy and productive environment for your horse.
All pastures and paddocks have automatic waterers, four board fencing, and are fescue free.
FLY CONTROL:
We use a fly predator system rather than the chemical automatic spray that most barns use. We feel this organic fly control system is more complimentary to our lifestyle here at Whitestone.
